Timm Chapman is an award winning photographer whose work hangs in both private & corporate collections. His images have been featured in publications all over North America including National Geographic Traveler and United Airlines' Hemispheres' magazine.

Since purchasing his first ‘real’ camera at 12 years of age, Timm began his self taught education into the art of photography. At the time, he never knew it would become a life-long journey of learning, filled with challenges and reward.

Over the years he has dabbled in all aspects of the medium, before finally settling on his greatest love: landscape portraiture; with Mother Nature as his model

Capturing Mother Nature is often a daunting task. She has many moods,..many faces and a spectrum of beauty that is a true challenge to capture accurately. All elements have to come together to give her the justice she deserves. Light. Composition. Drama. Each must be present to capture an image that evokes emotion.

It is a challenge that Timm equates to 99% frustration and 1% elation

The vivid colour saturation and sharp realism in his images’ details are cornerstones of his chosen equipment. He shoots exclusively with film and images are recorded in a format four times the size of standard 35mm. As such he is able to capture colours and details beyond the grasp of digital.

Born in the UK and raised in Canada, Timm currently finds home at the foot of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona; the heart of the Desert Southwest, however his endless pursuit to capture Mother Nature in all her glory will continue to take him all over the globe.
